RAINBOW CUPCAKES
These are so fun to do with kids and there are so many possible combinations: so grab your aprons, your little ones, and get creative!!
CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE
This Show-Off dessert is sure to get ooohs and ahhhs even before
it is tasted. If you love chocolate and strawberries this will definitely
become a household favorite at first bite!
Directions
Prepare cake mix according to directions on package, using 2 9-in. round pans - cool completely
Mix together strawberries, sugar, and vanilla
Spoon 1/2 of the strawberries on 1 cake layer; Drizzle with 1/2 the chocolate glaze; top with 1 carton whipped topping; Repeat layers
Garnish with chocolate-dipped strawberries, if desired
Refrigerate until Serving
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Glaze
(I recommed doubling this recipe)
3 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate
3 Tbs Water
1Tbs Butter
1 C Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla
Directions
Microwave chocolate, water and butter in large bowl on High 30 sec. to 1 min or until chocolate is ALMOST melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted
Stir in sugar and vanilla until smooth. For thinner glaze, add 1/2 - 1 tsp water.
JAMBALAYA
This is a perfect dish to serve company because
it can feed 8 adults, it comes together in a flash, and you are sure to get rave reviews!
Ingredients
2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
Directions
Chop up the pepper, onion, and celery - add to the pot
Add all other ingredients into the pot and stir together
Cook on high for 6 to 8 hours
Serve over rice
SAUSAGE TORTELLINI SOUP
Directions:
Combine first 8 ingredients into a crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
Just before serving, prepare pasta according to directions on pkg. and add to soup
Garnish with extra basil and parmesan cheese if desired
